Leonard Norman Eliezer Cohen (Montreal, 21 settembre 1934 – Los Angeles, 7 novembre 2016) è stato un cantautore, poeta, scrittore e compositore canadese di origine canadese-israeliana. Considerato uno dei cantautori più influenti del XX secolo, Cohen ha raggiunto fama internazionale con il suo stile musicale caratterizzato da melodie malinconiche e testi poetici che esploravano temi come la religione, l'amore, la perdita e la spiritualità. La sua carriera artistica è durata oltre cinque decenni, durante i quali ha pubblicato 14 album in studio, vendendo milioni di copie in tutto il mondo.
