Sara Beth Bareilles (Eureka, California, 7 dicembre 1979) è una cantautrice e musicista statunitense di grande successo internazionale. La sua carriera musicale ha preso avvio suonando in locali e pub prima di autoprodurre due demo nel 2003: "The First One" ad aprile e "The Summer Sessions" a ottobre. Nel 2004 esordisce con l'album "Careful Confessions", pubblicato per l'etichetta discografica indipendente Tiny Bear Records, che le permette di firmare un contratto con la Epic Records nel 2005.
