Black Oak Arkansas è stato un gruppo di Southern Rock di successo negli anni '70. Il loro brano più famoso, "Jim Dandy (to the Rescue)", vedeva la collaborazione con la sensazionale Miss Ruby Starr. Il gruppo ha riscosso un enorme successo anche nei tour, grazie all'energia delle loro performance e all'immagine iconica di Jim Dandy.
