Incubus ist eine amerikanische Rockband, die 1991 in Calabasas, Kalifornien, gegründet wurde. Die Gründungsmitglieder sind Brandon Boyd (Gesang), Mike Einzeger (Gitarre), Alex Katunich (Bass) und Jose Pasillas (Schlagzeug). Nach der Veröffentlichung des unabhängigen EP *Fungus Amongus* unterschrieben sie bei Epic Records und veröffentlichten 1997 ihr erfolgreiches Debüt-EP *Enjoy Incubus*, das ihren funkrockigen Stil vorstellte, der von Künstlern wie den Red Hot Chili Peppers beeinflusst wurde.
