Kenny Rogers (Kenneth Donald Rogers), nato il 21 agosto 1938 a Houston, Texas, è stato un leggendario artista americano noto soprattutto per la sua carriera nel country music. Dopo aver iniziato come cantante di rhythm and blues negli anni '50, Rogers ha trovato successo con i The First Edition negli anni '60, ottenendo successi come "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town". Nel 1976, ha avviato la sua carriera da solista, raggiungendo fama internazionale con album come "The Gambler" (1978) e "Share Your Love with Me" (1980). Rogers è stato un artista versatile che ha esplorato diversi generi musicali, tra cui pop, folk e gospel.
