Icehouse è un gruppo rock australiano formatosi a Sydney nel 1977 come Flowers. Inizialmente noti in Australia per il loro stile pub rock, hanno poi raggiunto il successo mainstream suonando musica new wave e synthpop, ottenendo successi nei Top Ten sia in Europa che negli Stati Uniti. Il pilastro di entrambi i gruppi, Flowers e Icehouse, è Iva Davies (cantante-autore-produttore discografico, chitarra, basso, tastiere, oboe), che ha sempre collaborato con musicisti aggiuntivi. Il nome Icehouse, adottato nel 1981, deriva da un vecchio appartamento freddo in cui Davies viveva e dall'edificio strano di fronte abitato da persone itineranti.
