Johnossi è un duo rock proveniente da Saltsjobaden, Stoccolma, Svezia, composto dal cantautore, cantante e chitarrista John Engelbert e dal batterista, percussionista e cantante Oskar "Ossi" Bonde. La loro musica si caratterizza per un suono di chitarra pieno supportato dall'impianto strumentale non convenzionale di Engelbert e dalla miriade di pedali effetti che utilizza, insieme ai ritmi diretti di Bonde; le uscite in studio spesso includono accenti percussionistici vivaci su strumenti come tamburello, legno, guiro e campane. Nella loro opera appaiono una varietà di stili musicali, dal hard rock ai riff blues, passando per il post-punk e persino il gloom-pop, sebbene i temi lirici siano quasi sempre personali e leggermente angosciati.
