HIM (His Infernal Majesty) è un gruppo musicale finlandese di genere gothic rock formatosi a Helsinki nel 1995 da Ville Valo (voce), Mikko Lindström (chitarra) e Mikko Paananen (basso). Il nome HIM, che potrebbe derivare dal precedente nome del gruppo His Infernal Majesty, è stato adottato dopo il singolo "Wicked Game", una cover del successo di Chris Isaak. La scelta fu motivata da un desiderio di distanziarsi dall'associazione con gruppi satanici e dalla difficoltà per i fan finlandesi nel pronunciare l'originale nome.
