Motorpsycho è un gruppo musicale norvegese formatosi a Trondheim nel 1989. Il loro sound, definibile principalmente come rock psichedelico, si arricchisce di influenze provenienti dal metal, jazz, pop e altri generi musicali. I membri fondatori sono Bent Sæther (basso/voce, nato il 18 febbraio 1969), Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan (chitarra/voce, nato il 31 dicembre 1969) e Kenneth Kapstad (batteria, nato il 20 aprile 1979). Dal marzo 2005 al gruppo fa parte anche Hakon Gebhardt (batteria, nato il 21 giugno 1969), che ha lasciato la band nel 2005. Nel dicembre 2007 è stato annunciato l'ingresso di Kenneth Kapstad come nuovo batterista ufficiale del gruppo.
