Darkane è una band di metal melodico/progressive thrash originaria di Helsingborg, Svezia, formatasi nel 1998 (precedentemente nota come Agretator). La loro musica presenta abbondanti elementi thrash intervallati da interludi acustici e caratteristiche sinfoniche, come l'uso in studio di sintetizzatori e occasionalmente orchestre complete e cori.
