Bathory war eine schwedische Heavy-Metal-Band, die 1983 von Quorthon (echter Name Lars-Göran Petrov) gegründet wurde. Sie gelten als Pioniere sowohl des Black Metals als auch des Viking Metals und haben den Underground-Musikszene maßgeblich beeinflusst.
