The Beloved sono un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi nel 1986. Inizialmente si sono distinti nell'ambito della new wave pop rock, per poi evolversi verso sonorità elettroniche più moderne come la dance, il synthpop, l'acid house e l'electropop. Il gruppo ha attraversato diverse fasi compositive, passando da una formazione iniziale di quartetto a un duo maschile e infine a un duo misto. Tra i loro album più noti figurano "The Beloved" (1987) e "Happiness" (1990). The Beloved hanno inciso dischi per importanti etichette come Flim Flam, Atlantic, Warner Bros., EastWest e WEA.
