Asia è un supergruppo formatosi nel 1981 da membri di gruppi leggendari come Yes, King Crimson, Emerson Lake and Palmer e Uriah Heep. Il nucleo originale comprendeva Geoff Downes (tastiere), John Wetton (basso, voce), Steve Howe (chitarra) e Carl Palmer (batteria). Nel corso degli anni la formazione ha subito diverse variazioni, con l'ingresso di altri musicisti di spicco.
