China Crisis è una band pop/rock inglese formatasi nel 1979 a Kirkby, vicino a Liverpool, Merseyside. Il nucleo originale era composto dal vocalist e tastierista Gary Daly e dal chitarrista Eddie Lundon. La loro musica presentava influenze pop New Wave con forti similitudini con il post-punk degli anni '80, caratterizzato da una gamma più ampia di influenze musicali e occasionalmente da riflessioni politiche. Durante la loro carriera, China Crisis ha ottenuto un successo moderato nel Regno Unito con dieci singoli di successo tra agosto 1982 e gennaio 1987 e sei album, oltre a raggiungere il successo commerciale in Europa occidentale, Australia e America.
