Biografia

Laura Pausini (Faenza, 16 maggio 1974) è una cantante e cantautrice italiana, considerata una delle artiste più influenti della musica pop internazionale. La sua carriera ha avuto inizio nel 1993 con la vittoria del Festival di Sanremo nella categoria Nuove Proposte grazie al brano «La solitudine», che divenne un successo planetario. Pausini ha conquistato il mercato discografico globale, incidendo brani in italiano, spagnolo, portoghese, inglese e francese. La sua musica è caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili, testi emozionali e una potente interpretazione vocale. Nel corso della sua carriera, ha ottenuto numerosi riconoscimenti internazionali, tra cui un Grammy Award nel 2006 per l'album «Escucha» nella categoria Miglior album Pop latino dell'anno e tre Latin Grammy Awards nella categoria Miglior album Pop femminile (2005 con «Escucha», 2007 con «Yo canto» e 2009 con «Primavera anticipada»). Nel 2006 è stata insignita del titolo di Commendatore della Repubblica Italiana. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano «La solitudine», «Strani amori», «Tra te e il mare», «Non c'è» e «Yo canto».
