I Crumbsuckers sono stati una band hardcore degli anni '80 formatisi nel 1982 a Long Island, New York, dal bassista Gary Meskil nella sua città natale di Baldwin. Nel giugno 1983, la band ha registrato un demo non ufficialmente chiamato "The Crumbsucker Cave" presso lo studio Nino di Baldwin con cinque brani, tra cui una cover di "The Twist" di Chubby Checker. Fu proprio con questo demo che ottennero il loro primo showcase al CBGBs e successivi Hardcore Matinees. La band ha pubblicato diversi album e EP durante gli anni '80, diventando un'icona del movimento hardcore newyorkese. I Crumbsuckers sono noti per il loro suono aggressivo e le performance energiche, influenzando numerose band successive nel genere hardcore punk.
