Scissor Sisters sind eine amerikanische Pop-Rock- und Dance-Musik-Band, die 2000 in New York City gegründet wurde. Die Band besteht aus Jake Shears (Gesang), Babydaddy (Keyboards, Gitarre), Ana Matronic (Backing Vocals) und Del Marquis (Bass). Bekannt für ihren energiegeladenen Synth-Pop-Sound und ihre theatralischen Auftritte erlangten Scissor Sisters internationale Bekanntheit mit ihrem gleichnamigen Debütalbum 2004, das Hits wie "Laura", "Take Your Mama" und "Comfortably Numb" enthielt. Ihr zweites Album, "Scissor Sisters II" (2006), festigte ihren Erfolg mit Songs wie "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'", und "Kiss You Off".
