I Deftones sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a Sacramento, California, nel 1988. Composti da Chino Moreno (voce), Stephen Carpenter (chitarra), Abe Cunningham (batteria) e Chi Cheng (basso, deceduto nel 2013), il gruppo ha raggiunto fama internazionale grazie al suo sound caratterizzato da un mix di metal alternativo, shoegaze e post-rock.
