Harmful è una rock band proveniente da Francoforte, Germania, fondata nel 1992. Il loro sound, spesso paragonato a Helmet degli anni '90 e occasionalmente a Blackmail, ha visto la luce in sette album pubblicati fino ad oggi. I primi due e gli ultimi tre sono usciti su etichette indipendenti (BluNoise, Steamhammer e Nois-o-lution), mentre il terzo (prodotto da Dave Sardy) e il quarto sono stati rilasciati tramite BMG. Nel 2007 è uscito l'album di debutto intitolato "7", prodotto da Billy Gould, ex membro dei Faith No More. Gould si è successivamente unito alla band come quarto membro e ha partecipato al tour promozionale dell'album all'inizio del 2007. Tra i brani più rappresentativi della loro discografia ricordiamo: "The Last Time".
