The Beautiful South è un gruppo musicale britannico di pop, attivo dal 1989 al 2007. Fondato da Paul Heaton e Dave Hemingway, ex membri degli Housemartins, il gruppo ha raggiunto grande successo negli anni '90 con un sound caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi ironici e sarcastici e una vena di malinconia. Oltre a Heaton e Hemingway, la formazione includeva Sean Welch (basso), Dave Stead (batteria) e Dave Rotheray (chitarra).
