Basement Jaxx ist ein britisches elektronisches Musikduo, bestehend aus Simon Ratcliffe und Felix Buxton, das in den 1990er Jahren gegründet wurde. Bekannt wurden sie zunächst durch ihre beliebte Clubnacht in London, bevor sie sich der Musikproduktion widmeten und 1999 ihr Debütalbum *Remedy* veröffentlichten.
