Cameron Jibril Thomaz, bekannt weltweit als Wiz Khalifa, ist ein amerikanischer Rapper, Sänger und Schauspieler, geboren in Minot, North Dakota, im Jahr 1987. Nach seinem Start in der Musikbranche mit 15 Jahren erlangte er nationale Bekanntheit durch sein Mixtape "Kush and Orange Juice" (2009). Sein Debütalbum "Rolling Papers" erschien 2011 und erreichte die Spitze der Billboard 200 Charts. Wiz Khalifa ist bekannt für seinen Musikstil, der sich durch schnelle Rhymes, eingängige Melodien und Texte auszeichnet, die oft um Cannabis kreisen. Zu seinen bekanntesten Songs gehören "Black and Yellow", "See You Again" (in Zusammenarbeit mit Charlie Puth) und "Young, Wild and Free" (mit Bruno Mars und Snoop Dogg). Neben seiner musikalischen Karriere hat Khalifa auch in Filmen wie "MacGruber" und "The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2" mitgewirkt.
