John Cafferty è un cantautore e musicista statunitense nato intorno al 1950. Noto per essere il frontman della rock band John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, ha raggiunto la popolarità negli anni '70 e '80 con un sound hard rock influenzato dal blues e dalla musica soul. La band, originaria di Narragansett, Rhode Island, si è formata inizialmente come Beaver Brown e ha conquistato una folta base di fan in Rhode Island, Connecticut e Massachusetts prima di cambiare nome.
