Originally named The Dust Brothers, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons grew up in and around the UK dance scene and helped kick start a new genre of music. The single "Chemical Beats" had a ?big beat? sound which set the tone for the music scene of the same name, subsequently popularised by Fat Boy Slim and others who took the style and produced a catalogue of hit records. ?Chemical Beats? was also included on the Playstation game Wipeout.
