Thin Lizzy è un gruppo hard rock irlandese formatosi a Dublino nel 1969. I membri fondatori furono il chitarrista Eric Bell, l'organista Eric Wrixon, il cantante e bassista Philip Lynott e il batterista Brian Downey. Il gruppo ha raggiunto la fama internazionale negli anni '70 con un sound caratterizzato da riff di chitarra potente, melodie orecchiabili e testi spesso ispirati alla mitologia irlandese.
