Sheila E., pseudonimo di Sheila Cecilia Escovedo, è una batterista e cantante statunitense nata a Oakland, California, nel 1957. Figlia del celebre percussionista Pete Escovedo, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale all'età di sette anni suonando il congas. Dopo aver collaborato con artisti come Marvin Gaye e Lionel Richie, ha raggiunto la fama internazionale negli anni '80 con brani come "The Glamorous Life" e "A Love Bizarre".
