I Barstool Prophets sono stati una band rock formatisi a Cornwall, Ontario, nel 1989 e attivi durante gli anni '90. La formazione originale comprendeva il bassista Glenn Forrester, il cantante e compositore Graham Greer, il chitarrista Al Morier e il batterista Bobby Tamas. Inizialmente conosciuti come The Wallflowers, la band cambiò nome in tempo per pubblicare il loro primo album indipendente, *Deflowered*, nel 1993.
