Hughes Turner Project (HTP) è stato un progetto musicale formatosi nel 2001 dal bassista e cantante Glenn Hughes (ex Deep Purple, Trapeze e Black Sabbath) e dal chitarrista e cantante Joe Lynn Turner (ex Deep Purple, Rainbow e Yngwie Malmsteen). La formazione ha visto la luce grazie alla comune passione per il hard rock classico e al desiderio di creare un suono potente e melodico. Il primo album, "Hughes Turner Project", è uscito nel 2001 ed è stato accolto positivamente dalla critica. L'album presenta brani come "The Way I Feel" e "You Can't Stop Me Now", che mostrano la fusione di stili tra Hughes e Turner. Il progetto ha continuato a registrare e esibirsi fino al 2004, pubblicando un secondo album, "Building the Bridge".
