The Bangles sono un gruppo musicale femminile statunitense formatosi a Brentwood, in California, nel 1980. Composte da Susanna Hoffs (voce, chitarra), Vicki Peterson (chitarra), Debbi Peterson (batteria) e Annette Zilinskas (basso, tastiere, cori) fino al 1990, le Bangles hanno raggiunto il successo internazionale negli anni '80 con un sound pop-rock caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, arrangiamenti raffinati e testi spesso ispirati alla vita quotidiana. Tra i loro brani più famosi figurano "Walk Like an Egyptian", "Eternal Flame" e "Manic Monday".
