Blue Cheer è stata una band americana di blues-rock psichedelico attiva a cavallo tra gli anni '60 e '70. Originari di San Francisco, sono considerati pionieri del heavy metal, grazie alla loro versione di «Summertime Blues», spesso citata come il primo brano del genere.
