Muse è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Teignmouth, nel Devon, all'inizio degli anni '90. Il trio originale era composto da Matthew Bellamy (voce, chitarra, tastiere), Chris Wolstenholme (basso, tastiere, voce) e Dominic Howard (batteria, percussioni). Dopo aver frequentato lo stesso college, i tre hanno iniziato a suonare insieme, dando vita ad un sound caratterizzato da una potente combinazione di rock alternativo, progressive rock e elementi elettronici.
