Emerson, Lake and Palmer (ELP) sono un gruppo rock progressivo britannico formatosi nel 1970. Il trio è composto da Keith Emerson (tastiere), Greg Lake (voce, basso) e Carl Palmer (batteria). Considerati uno dei primi supergruppi del progressive rock, ELP hanno raggiunto fama internazionale per i loro arrangiamenti orchestrali complessi, le performance energiche dal vivo e l'uso innovativo di strumenti elettronici. Tra gli album più importanti figurano *Emerson, Lake and Palmer* (1970), *Tarkus* (1971), *Pictures at an Exhibition* (1971) e *Brain Salad Surgery* (1973). Dopo un periodo di successo commerciale negli anni '70, ELP si sono sciolti nel 1978.
