The Audition sono una band pop/rock proveniente da Chicago, Illinois. Il gruppo è composto dal batterista Ryan O'Connor e dai chitarristi Seth Johnson e Timmy Klepek, entrambi originari di Chicago, con il cantante Danny Stevens proveniente da Detroit, Michigan. Il loro primo lavoro discografico è stato un EP di sei brani intitolato *All In Your Head*. All'inizio del 2005 hanno firmato per l'etichetta discografica Victory Records e hanno pubblicato il loro album di debutto, intitolato *Controversy Loves Company*.
