Tanya Donelly è una cantautrice e chitarrista americana nata il 14 luglio 1966 a Newport, Rhode Island. È nota per aver co-fondato la band Throwing Muses con la sua stepsister Kristin Hersh negli anni '80. Dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo, ha collaborato con The Breeders e Belly durante gli anni '90. A fine decennio si è dedicata ad una carriera solista, lavorando principalmente con musicisti della scena musicale di Boston. Donelly è stata nominata per un Grammy Award nel 1993 come parte dei Throwing Muses. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano "Dizzy", "Counting Backwards" e "The Last Time".
