Leon Russell, pseudonimo di Claude Russell Bridges (1942-2016), è stato un leggendario musicista, cantante e compositore statunitense. Nato a Oklahoma City, Russell iniziò la sua carriera musicale all'età di 15 anni suonando in locali del suo stato natale. Nel corso degli anni '60 si affermò come session man di grande talento, collaborando con artisti come Frank Sinatra, Joe Cocker e George Harrison.
