The Byrds sono stati un gruppo musicale statunitense di grande importanza nella storia del folk rock. Attivi dal 1964 al 1973, hanno contribuito in modo significativo alla nascita e alla diffusione di questo genere musicale con il loro sound caratteristico, definito "jingle-jangle", basato sull'utilizzo pionieristico della chitarra Rickenbacker a 12 corde.
