J Church è stata una band punk rock americana formatasi nel 1992 a San Francisco, California, da Lance Hahn (chitarra e voce) e Gardner Maxam (basso). La formazione nacque dalle ceneri del precedente gruppo di Hahn e Maxam, Cringer. La band ha attraversato diverse formazioni durante la sua esistenza, pubblicando un'impressionante quantità di dischi in vinile e CD fino alla morte di Hahn nel 2007. Il loro sound era caratterizzato da riff veloci, testi diretti e una forte influenza del punk rock classico degli anni '70.
