Gli Ammonal nascono nel giugno 2008 per mano di Renzo e Leo, rispettivamente bassista e chitarrista del gruppo Death Melodico EarthFlame. Poco dopo ai due si unisce il chitarrista Andrea e insieme iniziano a lavorare al nuovo progetto. Dopo qualche mese e vari cambi di line up, Leo diventa anche cantante del gruppo e nel febbraio 2009 si aggiunge alla line up il tastierista Federico. Ormai pronti per la registrazione della prima demo, gli Ammonal continuano a cercare un batterista adatto al progetto e compongono nuovi pezzi, sempre ispirati dal death melodico, ma mai rinchiusi negli standard tradizionali del genere. Nell'Ottobre del 2009, dopo una lunga ricerca, ai 4 si aggiunge il batterista Moreno e nell?aprile 2010 gli Ammonal registrano la loro prima demo - Beginning the end of everything-. La band è impegnata attualmente nella diffusione della propria musica, nell'attività live e nella ricerca di un etichetta discografica.
