Judy Garland, pseudonimo di Frances Ethel Gumm (Grand Rapids, 10 giugno 1922 – Londra, 22 giugno 1969), è stata una delle più grandi icone del cinema e della musica americana. Iniziò la sua carriera nel mondo dello spettacolo da bambina, esibendosi in vaudeville con i genitori e le sorelle. Nel 1937 firmò un contratto con la MGM, dove ottenne il suo primo grande successo con il film "The Wizard of Oz" (Il mago di Oz) del 1939, nel quale interpretò il ruolo di Dorothy Gale.
