Peter Criss, pseudonimo di George Peter John Criscuola (New York, 20 dicembre 1945), è un batterista e cantante statunitense, noto soprattutto per essere stato il membro fondatore dei Kiss. Cresciuto a New York, Criss iniziò la sua carriera musicale negli anni '60 suonando in diverse band locali. Nel 1973, insieme a Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons e Ace Frehley, formò i Kiss, diventando uno dei pilastri del gruppo grazie al suo stile di batteria potente e alla sua personalità carismatica. Criss contribuì a definire l'immagine iconica dei Kiss con il suo look da gatto nero, maschera nera e trucco bianco. Ha suonato in alcuni degli album più importanti della band, come "Kiss Alive!" (1975) e "Destroyer" (1976), e ha cantato brani di successo come "Beth" e "Hard Luck Woman". Nel 1980 lasciò i Kiss per intraprendere una carriera solista, pubblicando diversi album.
