Self è un gruppo musicale alternativo pop/rock americano proveniente da Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Il progetto musicale è principalmente frutto dell'ingegno di Matt Mahaffey, cantautore, produttore e musicista polistrumentista. Mahaffey si occupa della scrittura, della voce, della produzione e della maggior parte degli strumenti musicali all'interno del gruppo.
