The Waterboys sono un gruppo musicale scozzese fondato nel 1983 dal cantautore e musicista Mike Scott. Il nome del gruppo deriva da una frase presente nella canzone "The Kids" dell'album di Lou Reed "Berlin". Il sound dei The Waterboys ha attraversato diverse fasi, influenzato dalle collaborazioni con diversi artisti nel corso degli anni.
