I used to think of myself as a story teller
That I could really weave a tale or spin a yarn
That I could sit down and write you a million seller
On pen and paper on the back of my guitar
But this turn of events sure got me spinnin'
I'm second guessin' everything I thought I knew
It's not the sane ending of a great beginning
I couldn't make it up if I wanted to
