Deacon Blue è una band scozzese formatasi a Glasgow negli anni '80. Il gruppo, guidato dal talentuoso cantautore Ricky Ross, ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con il loro album di debutto *Raintown* (1987), che ha trascorso oltre 16 mesi nelle classifiche britanniche. L'album, incentrato sulla vita nell'urbanistica Scozia, ha generato tre successi top ten: "Loaded", "Chocolate Girl" e "Dignity".
