Flotsam and Jetsam è una band di thrash metal formatasi a Phoenix, Arizona nel 1982. Considerati uno dei pilastri del genere, hanno contribuito a definire il suono thrash degli anni '80 con riff veloci e aggressivi, testi oscuri e un'energia live travolgente. Il gruppo ha attraversato diverse formazioni nel corso della sua carriera, ma la presenza costante di Eric A.K. (voce) e Michael Gilbert (chitarra) ha mantenuto una coerenza sonora distintiva.
