Jon Batiste è un musicista, compositore e attore statunitense nato a New Orleans nel 1986. Considerato uno dei più talentuosi artisti contemporanei, ha saputo fondere influenze jazz, funk, soul e R and B in un sound originale e coinvolgente. La sua formazione musicale inizia precocemente con lo studio del pianoforte e della musica classica, per poi abbracciare il jazz e le sonorità afroamericane di New Orleans.
