The Itals sono un gruppo vocale reggae giamaicano formatosi nel 1976 da Alvin "Keith" Porter, Ronnie Davis e Lloyd Ricketts (quest'ultimo proveniente precedentemente dai The Tennors). Tutti e tre avevano precedentemente inciso come artisti solisti. I tre avevano lavorato insieme alla fine degli anni '60 nei Westmorelites. L'album del 1987 *Rasta Philosophy* è stato nominato per un Grammy Award come Best Reggae Album. Davis ha lasciato il gruppo nel 1994, sostituito dalla figlia di Porter, Kada.
