William John Clifton Haley, meglio conosciuto come Bill Haley (Detroit, 5 luglio 1925 – Londra, 9 febbraio 1981), è stato un cantante, musicista e attore statunitense considerato uno dei pionieri del rock and roll. Fondatore della band Bill Haley and His Comets, ha portato il genere a una popolarità mondiale negli anni '50. Il suo stile energico, basato su blues, country e rhythm and blues, ha influenzato generazioni di musicisti. Il brano più famoso di Haley è «Rock Around the Clock», pubblicato nel 1954 e diventato un inno del rock and roll.
