I Kinks sono un gruppo rock britannico formatosi a Londra nel 1963 e attivo fino al 1996. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti della British Invasion, hanno lasciato un'impronta indelebile sulla musica rock con il loro sound caratteristico che mescolava melodie pop orecchiabili a testi introspettivi e spesso satirici.
