The Alarm sono un gruppo rock alternativo originario del Galles settentrionale, emersi alla fine degli anni '70. Inizialmente una band mod, hanno mantenuto la formazione per oltre dieci anni. A differenza di molte altre band rock, hanno mostrato influenze marcate dalla lingua e dalla cultura gallese.
